AI Grammar Checker

Fix grammar, spelling, and punctuation instantly.

Most grammar checkers either over-correct (rewriting half your sentences in a stiff, school-essay register) or under-correct (catching the typos and missing the dangling modifiers, comma splices, and tense slips that actually hurt your credibility). Our AI grammar checker is calibrated for the middle path: it fixes real errors, smooths the genuinely awkward bits, and leaves your voice alone — so the output still sounds like you wrote it.

What it actually fixes

Spelling and typos, subject-verb agreement, comma splices, run-on sentences, missing or extra punctuation, tense inconsistencies, dangling modifiers, repeated words, and the small slips that spell-check misses (its/it's, then/than, affect/effect, lose/loose). It also tightens phrasing where a sentence is hard to parse — without rewriting the meaning or your tone.

What it doesn't change

Voice, register, length, and intent. If your draft is conversational, the output stays conversational. If it's formal, it stays formal. If a fragment is doing creative work (a deliberate punch line, a stylistic emphasis), it stays as written. The model is instructed to be conservative — it's a proofreader, not a co-author.

How to get the best results

Paste plain text (no markdown bullets, no code blocks). Keep chunks under 1,000 words so the model can focus. For longer drafts, check it in two or three passes — the corrections are usually identical chunk-to-chunk, but very long inputs cause the model to summarise instead of correct. Always re-read the output before publishing; AI proofreaders are right ~95% of the time but occasionally 'fix' a deliberate choice.

Grammar checker vs Humanizer vs Rewriter

These three sound similar but solve different problems. The grammar checker fixes errors and keeps your wording. The Humanizer rewrites AI-generated text to sound more human. The paragraph rewriter rewrites whole paragraphs in a new structure. Use the grammar checker on text you wrote, the humanizer on text AI wrote, and the rewriter when you want a structurally different version.

Privacy

Your text is sent to the AI gateway for a single correction pass and is not stored or used for training. We log anonymous usage events to enforce daily limits — never the contents of your text.

Use cases

  • Proofread blog posts before publishing
  • Clean up customer-facing emails and proposals
  • Check essays and reports for grammar and style slips
  • Polish LinkedIn posts and long-form social content
  • Fix typos in landing-page copy before launch

Honest limitations

  • Best in English — quality drops in other languages.
  • Keep chunks under ~1,000 words for the cleanest output.
  • Always re-read the output; AI proofreaders are ~95% accurate, not 100%.
